Also what would happen if I jumped from the highway overpass in the middle away from the cars the height says on the sign 5.2 m which is roughly 17 feet high.
At best, some bruises. At worst, some broken bones and injuries that might never heal correctly, an ER trip, and a potential psych hold. These are nowhere near high enough to do anything but make your life worse.
Unless you smacked your skull when you landed I can't imagine either of those locations having a great potential for suicide. There's always the outside chance of fractured ribs piercing a vital organ or one rupturing of course.
Fractured pelvis, spine, legs seem more likely injuries. Plus of course you may get hit by a vehicle if you jumped onto the road, with completely unpredictable results as drivers are likely to swerve in various directions by reflex as they see your body descending.
Even Falling from 50 feet of height doesn't guarantee death. Unless you fell head down first and your skull had the first impact so it could take the most of impact force and damage.
Now , heights given by you are a bad trip to Emergency Room.
Not to encourage you, but one has to find a place higher than at least 60 feet or so and land on head first.
Both spots are way too low for CTB, you want at least 150 feet over land or 250 feet over water to reduce chances of survival.
Also if you did it in a building like that you absolutely need to make sure you don't land on anybody. People do get killed by jumpers and it's awful.
Similarly jumping from an overpass creates significant risk for drivers. There was a case where a woman jumped from the overpass and broke through the window of a car below, killing the passenger who was a woman travelling with her husband. Even if you didn't directly hit a car, it can cause people to swerve or break suddently and get into accidents.
