Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

i am vulnerable right now and it kinda fed my suicidality but it's whatever. remind me to never use reddit again. idek why i used it SS is so much better anyway, people seem so much more supportive and understanding over here. i should keep thing to myself from now on, but i just needed a place to put my thoughts out.

On the internet you find all kinds of people, friend. Not just on Reddit, but anywhere you post on the internet. Here, it does not happen or I have not seen jokes, criticism or judgments of users. Don't be put off by that Reddit comment. Much encouragement.

I haven't touched reddit in months and lost nothing of value. I'm sorry that was said to you. People don't seem to care how their words impact someone when it's over the internet.

I think being lonely is common for adults or the older you get the lonelier the path. I know someone age 92 with wife, children and grandchildren but all he's craving for dialogues, he needs to be listened. But adolescents may feel it harder since the age is more groupies.

In a life like this, nowhere is free from the cruelty of people. I see it as often being best not to open up about our suffering at all as there is always the chance of other people making things worse. The truth is that other people would never really be able to understand as they are not living our lives and cannot experience life the same way that we do. If they had our problems, then maybe they would not be so insensitive about it. In my opinion, it's best to take no notice of the words of others.
Not surprised for Reddit. I made a post defending a woman with bipolar disorder who wanted to keep her gun "just in case" and her husband freaked out when he found it after her hiding it for a long time. Everyone on the post was like, "if you're bipolar, there's no way you should have a gun for a rainy day" type shit. When I was the only one who defended her choice, I quickly realized from the backlash that I was forgetting I was saying it on Reddit and not SS. I keep my method for when I'm ready, and I thought she should have the choice too. No one else thought that, and I got torn apart for my pro choice views. Oops
