A stable job who paid good, mental health, motivation to improve even more, and positive outlook that my life would only get better.

I lost it all, at rock bottom where i'm today i've lost the strenght that i once had, the fighter that i once was and the dream of making my life better.

The future? I probably won't have one.

I've quit my job after my despair got so bad that i would drink heavily, before and after work.

It's a long story, probably genetic, after high school blues i was never the same, but i got over it, or so i thought. Thank you for asking.

I think you can get it all back. Don't despair, since you steadily slid into this deep pit, you can slowly climb out of it as well.

The first thing you need to do for that is to kick your alcohol habit. I know it's very hard, but you can do it. Alcohol can never be the depressed person's friend.

I also see myself as having no future as well, I'm sorry that things are so unbearable. It really is so awful when everything seems hopeless. I wish you the best.

I know the feeling. I once had everything, a nice home, a loving husband, good job, friends... I lost it all after my husband died. I spiraled out bad, and just when I think I have hit rock bottom, a new low appears through which I descend on this self destructive quest to end my life.

Sorry to hear you don't feel you have a future. The first step is getting help for the alcohol. Alcohol is nobody's friend. I know from experience
