I feel as though every time I try to improve my life I fail and end up even more miserable and unhappier than before.

The other day for instance I signed up to OkCupid to try to meet girls.
But it's soul crushing.
You feel like a piece of meat on sale in the supermarket.
And you compete with hundreds of other guys.

But if I were, I wouldn't have the courage to try as much as you did. You're not doing so bad.

Read 1 article in a serious newspaper each day.
That sort of thing.
Jumping in the deep end of online dating and hoping someone might take an interest in you is very brave mind you.

How old are you ? Like the person above said, if you are able to help yourself somehow physically and mentally, please do everything you can first.

And don't expect quick results. Just try to be a good person and protect yourself from negative people online or offline.

This life can be exhausting. You can try and improve your life and yet nothing can go your way. I guess there is always ways to help yourself but sometimes effort can get you nowhere. It is the sad reality of this life.
