I cut myself today

I cut myself. It was amazing. Like flying. I regret it. But... The blood,, . The blood mq

Did the same yesterday, first time in a while. Only little cat scratches, since that's what I tell people they are. Wish I could have cut deeper, wish it wasn't so hot so I could wear something with long sleeves.

I messaged the man who SA'd me today, for the first time in two years. I think we all have our own reasons to do counter productive things.

When I was a teen, I cut my gums for the taste but never really understood cutting wrists/legs. Are you just looking for relief? Is there other benefits you find?

I cut only one piece of right upper thigh. It's just for me. No 'crying for help'. I always hid it

For me it's a good way to relieve myself of self hatred. Kind of like I'm punishing myself. When I just really can't stand being stuck with myself in my head anymore it's the only way to make it more bearable. Most of the time I just hit myself in the gut or head, beat my head against the wall or kick and punch concrete. The nice thing about cutting is actually bleeding for what a piece of shit I am.

Yeah, I know a lot of IRL friends who've done the same thing.

So it's just a relief thing?

I've certainly dealt a fair few punches to help control my emotions, when things are too chaotic.
