Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i never read jung or anyone like him but i thought what if i characterize my insecurities and confront them?

since i love fancy names i called my anxiety merimna which is anxiety in greek and my paranoia pseudother which means lying beast

then i sat down and imagined them. merimna as a twitching figure and pseudother as a whispering shadowy figure

i took a piece of paper and made them talk. i tried to put their whispers into full sentences. then i made them put forth arguments against me. listing all the insecurities and anxious thoughts they had in their inventory

i then tried to debate them like i debate a person. i mostly used logic and sometimes emotional arguments. i imagined them weakening with each word of mine

finally i imagined myself victorious upon them

after all these i felt a sense of slight relief and i know this won't make those thoughts go away but I realized i can defeat some of their arguments with pure logic

this is the conclusion i liked the most, seeing their arguments have basis on truth but twisted and understanding that logical thinking is healthy way to approach these things

thanks for reading

Fears and anxieties can be the basis for many problems. People can adopt even harmful behaviors in an attempt to get even momentary relief. Your approach is an effective way to reduce anxieties is to use the tools of logic and truth to confront them.

There is supposed to be an illustration about a philosopher arguing with someone that he had no problems. The other fellow said what if I hung you out of the window in a tall building, wouldn't you then have a problem. The philosopher answered if you brought me back in, you might have a problem and if you dropped me, you would have to explain to the police why you did it so you would still have the problem.

Fears and anxieties can grow in uncertainty and speculation. The cold light of truth can dispel most.

I like how you challenged those different insecurities as entities you wanted to debate that is very smart and intruiging
