Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

A got prescribed Zoloft (Sertraline) and Hydroxyzine about a week and a half ago. I've been taking the Zoloft once when waking up and the hydroxyzine when i wake up, once when i wake up, and once before bed.

In the beginning it would make me feel really drowsy and sluggish at work, but that side effect has gone down lately. It almost feels like they aren't doing anything anymore.

Has anyone else here taken hydroxyzine for depression or anxiety? It's only been a week and a half so i don't expect to feel much from the Zoloft yet, but the doctor the hydroxyzine was supposed to help short term.

SSRIs like Sertraline are not useful for everyone. It's usual to feel side effects when taking new medications, and this can be raised as an issue with your doctor. If you don't see improvement from the Sertraline after a couple of months, I'd ask your doctor, who may be able to start you on another alternative medicine. Personally SSRIs like Sertraline have not worked on me, and it is important to realise that improvement takes time, and that 'instant' improvement is not a realistic goal. I've never been prescribed an antihistamine like Hydroxyzine for mental health issues, however.

I've taken hydroxyzine for anxiety but got off if because all it did was make me sleepy

I don't think it helped my depression but I was on zoloft for that though I got off zoloft too since it wasn't helpful for me

Imo hydroxyzine isn't good plus it's similar to benadryl since it's an antihistamine if that tells you anything and I've seen many people not like it either

Zoloft could help though just give it more time to possibly work, I hope it works out for you!
