I've had a few deep conversations where I discovered another suicidal person or two, but it's usually too taboo to find others IRL.

I don't think I know anymore. I've been in a lot of group therapy at different hospitals and organizations, but most of the people I met through there are doing pretty okay now.

But sometimes you just never know. There's this other girl in my class who's very sweet and kind, always has super positive energy. We exchanged socials and I noticed on her blog she sometimes vents about being broken and stuff like that.

I was so surprised but then I realized it's super easy to mask what you're going through. I can only imagine how many people we walk past every day who are just as suicidal but look completely fine.

a few friends, but either they're into a deep drug addiction or they aren't anywhere near the level of suicidal i'm on. my brother committed suicide, so you could also count that.

Zero. I even haven't seen anyone with scars on hands on streets, though on imageboards people laughing that most of people do this just for fun

None, though ironically if I did know anyone like that, we'd have something in common and I'd feel a lot less lonely and hence less suicidal. Maybe we'd even be friends and I wouldnt even be here. Oh well.

My mom used to be suicidal a very long time ago, and even made a serious attempt. That's the closest I can think of. She's now overwhelmingly pro-life though.

I don't know many people in real life in the first place, but I do think that because suicide is so stigmatised, many people do not talk about wanting to die, and choose to hide their feelings. Suicide is not discussed openly that often but I do wish that we lived in a world where people were able to do that. There is nothing wrong with wanting to die after all, and it is a human right.

It's hard to say. A lot of my coworkers joke about dying all the time, but I can never tell how serious they are. Same with some members of my family, and friends.

I would say I know at least 5 people who have genuinely considered it over the years, but I don't know how they feel about it now. For their sakes, I hope things have improved.

None. I have encountered a few acquaintances from the past though who ended up ctb but i had no idea that was going to happen and of course they didn't talk about it. I found out years later that they had ctb. I had a good friend from here also and we were real close to meeting up and hanging out soon but they decided to go ahead and ctb. So they are gone now. I don't think I'll ever get to know anybody else who wants or needs to die unless it's from on here. It's just hardly even possible for that to come up. I would like to have a friend who is also planning and serious about ctb.

A couple? I don't know how serious the people in my life have been about it, but I know for sure that my mom was at least passively. Two of my friends were for sure. Possibly more. It's still not something I'm comfortable talking to them about though. I think all of my friends have improved and I'm not close enough with anyone in my family to go anywhere near that topic.

Nobody that I know of. Most people I know seem pretty happy and busy.
