• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm assuming by survivors you mean those who attempted ctb and failed. I guess they would probably think the same as other people. I think that in general, if someone ctb on their birthday it is because they wanted to leave on a date that is significant to them or they chose to ctb on that date so those left behind would not have 2 days which would remind them specifically of that person (their birthday and the day they chose to ctb), so therefore someone might choose to ctb on their birthday to try and make it a little bit less painful for those left behind.

Reference Mark Twain in your note. Not quite the same but they should get the point.

Survivors refers to family and friends. They survive the deceased

An impersonal note.
