Yes, living can become unbearable when we see a hopeless future ahead of us. I see life as pointless really, as we eventually die and are forgotten. Therefore essentially all our suffering is for the sake of it. I would probably rather be realistic about my situation than hold on to some sort of delusional false hope - as that will just lead to more pain.Similar threads
