Has anyone made any ctb serious attempts and took benzos beforehand?

For those that have seriously attempted and took benzos beforehand did you find they helped your SI or made the process less physically uncomfortable? If so what benzos were they and what was the effect? Thank you.

idk but it sounds like a good way to go... just slowly, peaceful fall asleep and just stop breathing in your sleep and die. I'm wondering the same thing about Norcos, if I took anti-nausea first, and then crushed the norcos and mixed with water/juice and sipped them slowly over a half hour or so, would that work? I know that's lots of acetaminophen (325 mg per tablet), and I wouldn't want to somehow be unsuccessful and then have kidney failure etc, or worse, be like in a coma or whatever. I'm pretty sure if I took a lot of any pills, it's possible to puke them back up too. Does anyone know about Norcos too? or benzos?

Ah sorry I don't mean actually ctb by benzos, that's almost impossible. I mean like just taking benzos before ctb. My preferred method is full suspension and I'm wondering if taking benzos a few minutes before stepping off the chair will make it less uncomfortable or painful.

sorry, I didn't get what you meant, I've taken lorazepam for many years for sleep/nausea and it seems to me it would take a lot to lessen the pain from hanging. but really I don't know. Avoid pain is #1 for me. It seems that your method could take a few minutes or even more, although ultimately it's your choice, I think it would be painful. At this site, I have to be honest, so if you also want to lessen or avoid pain, I don't think hanging is the way to go (and during those last minutes, what if you change your mind?). Sounds like you've thought these things through but I wanted to mention, because that's what this site is for. I can't know how you feel, you know what is best for you, and I wish only the best for you too.

Haven't used them for ctb specifically yet, but i have noticed a small reduction in SI. The biggest advantage i see though are reduction/complete removal of all anxiety and fear which might come handy for some. I used 5-10mg of valium

Benzos generally have a slower onset of around 40 minutes on average. Of course, this can vary from dose and bodyweight. But generally speaking, benzos won't block out any pain; they only sedate your mind. Your anxiety will be gone, but the procedure will still be uncomfortable. Try taking a smaller dose of a chosen benzodiazepine as a way to test the waters and see if you like the feeling.

I took 2mg xanax before my attempt w/nitrogen and EB. It helped calm my nerves, but I'm a lightweight and it zonked me out to the point that police were knocking on my front door about 6 feet from my head 7 hours later and I didn't stir. I still had fear, shaking and SI but I do think it helped. That said, I'd listen to the voice inside that is so nervous and make sure the time is right, or see if there's a different viable path you can try. Just my 2 cents.

yes i have always taken benzos before and i will always use them in the future. one time i took like 15 bar xan washed it down with a bottle of wine and tied a big plastic bag around my head under a tree in the woods, but someone found me and took the bag off and i got 5150'd. i didn't remember much anything of it except it was dark and raining when i was found... i must've been there for a couple hours and i probably did a shit job of it too. thats one thing i won't do again- i'll have an effective plan set up such that i am unlikely to mess it up by having taken benzos. i'll use sn this time, soon as i get my z's. almost completely gets rid of my anxiety/stress. but on the other hand i'm an idiot when i'm high.
