Help hallucinations

help I've been hallucinating all day but now I'm actually scared because its dark out and they wont stop, I tried to draw / Photoshop a pic of my room into what I'm seeing. what do I do???

nope. I'm withdrawing from nicotine but that's it, and I feel like a loser admitting it. it might just be my stress, lot of things are happening and I think I'm in some sort of episode..

i have never heard of someone hallucinating on nicotine but withdrawals may be different ofc. thats kinda interesting to me

I'm 19 and my father is diagnosed as schizoaffective.

how are you feeling now?

yeah ive never hallucinated due to nic, and I've never heard of it happening to anyone. I think its more the stress of detox than the chemicals themselves. I'm feeling better, I got distracted and watched youtube

Early 20s is usually when schizo-spectrum disorders start popping up for those who genetically predisposed to them, especially when an immediate parent has one. I would just keep an eye on yourself, try to avoid psychedelics, and stay cognizant of when you may be hallucinating other things that are less clear than visual hallucinations, like hearing whispering voices or sounds that aren't really there.

How are you when it comes to odd beliefs like thinking things that happen are specifically signs for you and stuff like that? And do you typically feel paranoid? (Im diagnosed schizotypal so I always try to be aware of all of these things in myself so I can monitor how out of touch w/ reality i am)
