Hello. I am in the process of getting into the Canadian MAID program. There are many restrictions on eligibility for this program, and I am here to ask what I could do to increase my odds of being put on the waitlist / accepted, and what could my options be if I'm denied?
The Canadian government has been delaying the eligibility of MAID for solely mental health diagnosis for years now, and they keep delaying that delay. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, or at least my doctors believe I do. I am diagnosed with ASPD, NPD, GAD, and ADHD, so it's ridiculous to me that I can't legally get any sort of relief from these conditions alone. I'm wondering what my options are for convincing my doctor / eventual case-worker that I should be eligible.
Otherwise, if I am denied MAID, I'd like a backup plan. I've seen something called "SN" referred to many times on this forum (I am brand new here), and would like to know what that means, and how lethal it is. It must be, if everyone here is recommending it... Please suggest methods below! I also have a train track near me, with trains that come and go very often. If sticking my head in front of a train wheel is a valid and lethal method, then that's also an option,,, let me know.
