A few months ago, I posted a few positive messages about the psychic Matt Fraser. Based on what I'd seen of him so far, I considered him the "real-deal".
In March, I managed to book a slot for $20 on one of his live Zoom meetings that was scheduled to happen in May.
Seeing him live was a revelation. He's a phony. The cold-reading and Barnum-statements were in abundance. It was shockingly bad to see him work live in a one-hour session.
He'd need at least three cold-reading hits before he'd go into detail. For example:
Matt: I sense a female presence. Do you have a mother who has recently passed over?
Two Audience Members: *looking at each other confused* No.
Matt: Let me concentrate, was it a male presence?
Two Audience Members: Yes, it was her father.
Matt: Did he pass violently? I sensed there were police involved.
Two Audience Members: No, he had blood-clots in his legs.
Matt: Now he's showing me mobility issues. Could he walk?
Two Audience Members: Yes! That's him! It's him!
Pathetic. He went through around three-cycles of cold reading to zone in. Same with everyone he saw in the one hour session that I observed.
What you see of him on YouTube is very heavily edited. He only puts his best guesses online.
