Any functional opiate addicts here? I'm in the midst of withdrawing which will last about another week until I get my painkillers again, and there's nothing worse than knowing I have to repeat another fucking week of wishing I was high while being busy as fuck with work every single day.

Well I'm a user but not an addict. I use them mainly for headaches, and very rarely to get high, only on special days (birthday, etc.)
Do you use them for pain or does your GP know you use them to get high?
I'll recommend to use them only once or twice a week if you want to avoid nasty withdrawals.
If you're functional I assume your addiction is still quite mild, and I hope it'll remain the same.
I wouldn't call myself an addict, but I do like painkillers. I often take a handful of them with alcohol. Normally once every few weeks I'm able to get some pills and get high. But last week was probably the best, I had a lot of painkillers so I split them up and got high a few times in the week. Now I have to wait a few weeks till I'm able to get more and honestly, it sucks. I hate the wait. But on the other hand, the wait is a good thing, because my tolerance will go down so I won't have to take too many to get high again (and it gives me something to look forward to)
