Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I know this is a long shot but I am trying to find an obituary of an online friend. All I know about him is that he died in May of this year. He lived in Sacremento California and worked in the Governor's Office of Emergency Services. He has Mexican heritage

Hi, losing a friend is never easy and I'm sending you lots of kindness.

Other than online resources which you can search by location there really isn't a comprehensive source for death notices / obituaries.

And not everyone that is deceased will have a death notice published because someone that's alive after them needs to write one for them and either provide it to a local newspaper or to a funeral home for publishing.

In some cases there may not be anyone that the deceased knew that wants to publish that information for whatever reason.

In some cases the local police department might include the information on their public facing media if the death was related to criminal or traffic incidents.

I'm sorry.

Echoing everything the poster above said, but I also want to mention that checking for obituaries is one of many things that made grieving the loss of the most important person in my life significantly more unbearable for me. I definitely know how easy it is to get wrapped up in those what if's though. I'm so sorry.
