I've no idea what this could be, but I know from my experience heavy dissociation could affect your critical thinking as well as being able to process emotions. I've never personally dissociated so hard and so consistently that my thinking was affected 24/7, but I have had moments of tuning out so hard that I couldn't think that lasted 1-2 hours here and there, but everyone's different.

It could be a myriad of things, I'm just familiar with this topic so it's what comes to mind for me. If you google depersonalization/derealization do you relate to any of those symptoms?

i dont think ive rly ever derealized before but I cant rly explain it sry ig thats kinda apart of it like at work a journeyman can explain smth to me and ask me a question about it and i just cant answer or recall what the question was I didnt like zone out or anything I can process what hes asking me but when he asks the question my mind just goes blank, im getting enough sleep and have enough caffeine in me to kill an elephant i dont rly know what up
