Maybe it's a bit of a specific question and idk if anyone will answer, but lately I've been listening to Bel Air a lot since it makes me think of how it would feel to die (at least the way I imagine it for myself). The song is supposed to be about love but since the first time I heard it years ago I interpreted it as a song written either to or by death/God ("Darling, I'm waiting to greet you / Come to me, baby"), or as if something or someone had been waiting for me to die and I finally meet them at the gates of heaven, and it understands that this was what I was meant to do ("(...) you're divine / Didn't anyone ever tell you it's okay to shine?") and letting me accept my death ("Don't be afraid of me / Don't be ashamed / Walk in the way of my soft resurrection").
Does anyone else have songs or other media like this? Even just things that you interpret differently and mean something more special to you.
