Could you explain step by step how to cut my carotid artery? I know it's a drastic method, but I don't have many options. Thank you.

This sounds like an awful method.

I imagine it is no different than cutting through anything else. First you need to be able to locate/isolate it. Get something very very sharp and then cut with enough pressure to get the job done.

Again, I think this is an awful and messy way to go. Not to mention if you mess it up, you will be left with nerve/cartilage damage and an ugly very visible scar. I would imagine causing you pain and some shame the rest of your days.

I hope you reconsider.

The carotid arteries are very deeply located in your neck. You'd have to get through many layers : skin, subcutaneous tissue, platysma muscle, superficial layer of deep cervical fascia, sternocleidomastoid muscle, middle layer of deep cervical fascia, infrahyoid ("strap") muscles, carotid sheath (fascial layer), internal jugular vein, vagus nerve, and then you reach the common carotid artery. All this info is available with a bit of research.

If you tried, you'd likely just cut superficial neck vessels and bleed out from those. Death would be from blood loss, which is slower and less certain.

Also, our survival instict would also have to incredibly low and your impulsivity, very high.

It's not worth a try, psh would have a higher chance of working.
