Help Caught Up With Bad People

Today I was surrounded by some bad people. For some reason me telling them I wasn't scared of them did the trick, even though I was. I told them I would pay them but never got around to it since I'm so broke. These people are violent and will use force, I feel like my next encounter with them will be confrontational.
