Help carotid artery compression

Cant seem to pass out of even get light headed with this trying partial hanging.. Is full the only option

I think i was able to find them but i never really managed to block them.
For strangulation by ligature i've been trying to use a 10mm rope with rolled up socks on the artery
I also plan on doing full suspension together with it, jumping only when i am close to losing consciousness
