Venting being stalked online

My toxic ex-friends started stalking me online. I got over them years ago and this year, they somehow found and reached out to my accounts. Why now? Why multiple? I'm scared they're secretly talking about me, ways to find me. At this point I've tightened security to the point it's impossible for strangers OR friends on social media to message me. But I'm still shaking. It's always been a fear of mine to suddenly be exposed. Even though I've done nothing wrong, being stalked makes me irrationally feel like it could happen. I've taken so many security measures. I've done everything I can. But I already had measures before, that they somehow got around. I'm scared I'll be messaged again. I don't even want to remember my time with them because I was in a horrible place. Why? I just want to move on with my life. I'm sorry for being so irrational, I have bad paranoia I've worked hard to manage. It's like all my effort is falling apart.

Make sure your account on SASU isn't compromised in any way.I added two factor authentication on this account just to make sure that it's safe. This might not really be relevant to your situation. Still, it doesn't hurt.

Some people just can't leave others be in peace. So please take the necessary precautions.You aren't being irrational. Trust your gut. There are plenty of lunatics out there

To me it would be more important the fact that they found me more than messaging me. Do you just want them to stop messaging you or want to disappear?

Idk how much you want or use social media but the best approach would be to delete the accounts and make new ones with new nick names. If you talk to a few select people there, maybe tell them your new accounts... But this should effectively make you disappear and not be found ever again, unless you post specific details about you.

Im not sure which social media we are talking about so I cant tell you much more. The most difficult thing is if you have an old account with tons of things, like, idk, an art account with drawings and followers.

There's no such thing as "ex-friends." They were just trash. Why don't you just ignore their messages and stop replying to them?

Don't respond to them
If something "serious" happens to you because of them, then take action
They are boring people with a lot of free time and empty hatred
