Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Hello: It is a lonely situation. What is a discord chat, never had one. Yes, I have chronic illness for 40 years, but in the past 5 I have steadily become more disabled, I don't know where the bottom is anymore, every day is misery. There is also some other discussions under "Degenerative" illness, and some others under "Chronic"???? Yes, I think we should have a community. Mostly, neurological problems are in the forefront; but, let's face it, everyone degenerates, right, especially, though not always, when the years accumulate. Peace.

Yes I have severe hyperacusis and an unknown autoimmune condition. My account here is new so I don't think I am able to message you but I would appreciate the discord link. My condition is the sole reason I want to ctb.

It would be nice if we could have a group, perhaps we could help each other find a more peaceful end. At least find communication where it is acceptable and understandable to talk about. Yes, I too would go on if not for this.
I'm disabled and my body degenerates on a daily basis. A discord community sounds like a wonderful idea. I'd definitely be interested in participating, if you'll have me. :)

I'd be interested. I have neurological conditions and learning disabilities that are quite severe combined with several inherited conditions im set to inherit. Also some others that I already have or am developing.

I know this is an older post, but is there now a chat for this that I could join? It would be really nice to talk to other people who are in a similar situation.
I made a suggestion that there be a subsection of this site devoted to the terminally ill (chronic illness too).
It would be nice if those who are contemplating suicide as a result of a sick/dying body had their own subcommunity here--our concerns are very different from the vast majority of members of this site, it seems.

I have already set up a chronic illness server if anyone is interested in joining and providing feedback on the channels, rules etc before I start inviting more members.
I have also posted a Chronic Illnesses Megathread as a space for people with chronic conditions to chat and vent about their circumstances. I thought it would be useful to have a thread that those struggling with chronic conditions can check in to at anytime.

I have replied in a couple of threads, for this, but there seemed to be a lack of follow through, or interest.
where is the chronic illness server, how does one find it? I will look at the Megathread above. Thank you for posting the information.

I do hope we can keep a community here. Doesn't everyone in these conditions want peace and death with dignity, or do some not realize they could wind up hopeless, alone, laying in their own excrement, day by day facing nothingness in a nursing home? Can we help each other avoid that I would hope. Peace
Sounds disturbing. These are symptoms, did the doctor offer why, there should be a diagnosis. Maybe it can be treated, that is the source of this complex of symptoms. Peace
