• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

As I near my end, I'm trying to seek comfort in anyway possible. Has anyone else watched this clip on Acceptance of Death? He makes many good points. Including one about the moot point of quantitative life.

But the one that stands out for me was: "Once we have ceased to see magic in the world, we are no longer fulfilling nature's game of being aware of itself. There's no point in it anymore, and so we die. And so something else comes to birth which gets an entirely new view..."

That just really resonated. Wonder if anyone else feels the same way or has thought about things like this.

Yes. I feel the same and thanks for sharing. I have heard Allan Watts talk about this before and it gave me a sense of comfort with the process of dying. When my mother passed from cancer just over a year ago, I too ceased to see magic in the world. In fact she brought me magic when all I saw was despair. Everybody has their own reasons to ctb and this is mine.
