Currently I'm in a part of the world where malaria's endemic and I'll be here for the next 3 months. I've been feeling upset and I hate it here, I'm not happy in my home country either, and I hate myself. I did get some medicines to prevent malaria but not enough for the whole stay. My chance of getting malaria is 9% and that's on the high end. And the chance of dying from it if left untreated with no immunity, is like a coin toss. This is less of a suicide method and more of me just hoping I don't wake up one day. I'll probably be fine. And if you don't hear from me in Fall, then that's it

Malaria symptoms are absolutely awful.
That's not a good idea unless you want to suffer with no guarantee to ctb.I had malaria a couple times a decade or so ago. It just feels like being sick, kind of like a fever or the flu. I never even felt my life was in danger even when I was hospitalized for a few days. I'm not really expecting this to work. Just risky behaviour. I'll be fine. If I really mean it I can ctb back home the proper waySimilar threads
