9mm Hollow Points

How effective do you think a 9mm hollow point bullet shot from a Glock through the roof of the mouth would be? I know a 12 gauge shotgun would be ideal but I don't have access to that.

Every available method is risky, but gun to the head is one of the most reliable methods, especially when done with hollow point bullets.

True. I'm a little jealous I don't have a gun sometimes. Wish I knew more about them though in the scenario I obtain one.

Yeah. And the advantages of the gun that is readily available, so you can act on impulse and once you pull the trigger you can't undo it.

Whata dream. I probably can't obtain one though.

I was thinking of using this method too, but not pointing the 9mm through the roof of the mouth but instead laying down with my head propped up on a pillow and firing straight so the bullet goes straight through the brain stem!

If you are going to ctb with a 9mm - make sure you get a +P+ JHP. Not all hollow points are made equal.

Speer gold dot is pretty good. Self defense loads from Corbon, hornady etc are excellent. And make sure you have a decent barrel length; enough for the bullet to get decent velocity. Glock 43 wont be as good as a Glock 17.
