hello again peoples,

i want to try and like write down some of my mini goals here (maybe the big ones too like my personal ideal 5 year plan lol) to help put myself in perspective and not get overwhelmed by everything i need to do to achieve my goals. maybe i'll write some updates too and about how i'm feeling. i thought this would be a good idea for myself just to share with others but also maybe somebody here might feel better reading this and get inspired idk.

my current mini goals:
finish spring semester with a good grade in the one class i'm taking
keep up on chores
keep saving money (current ideal would be $10k)
keep up on my medication
start taking better care of myself
finish my sewing project

these may seem somewhat simple but i think simple is best for me rn and helps me stay concentrated and not overwhelmed.

hello again peoples,

i wanted to write an update to my mini goals. some good news and some bad news. the latest class i had i missed. i plan to do all the work but i just missed class because i would've been late and i didn't feel like going. i'm not proud of it but i don't plan on missing another. i've been keeping up on chores like laundry and dishes. i'm continuing to save money and have hopes to use that money for school or moving. i've been trying my hardest to keep compliant with my meds and i think i've been doing a good job but idk if they really seem to be working. ik it sometimes takes awhile to kick in and i haven't really been being completely compliant with them up until recently (i'm supposed to be taking one of my meds twice a day and i was only taking it once) but i'm scared to be open with my psychiatrist because they're kinda of a pill pusher if you know what i mean and i really don't want them to like up my dosage or put me on yet another pill. let me know if anyone has any advice on this.

i haven't had time or motivation to work on my sewing project but in terms of taking better care of myself i've started looking into eating better and drinking more water. i already have tried a recipe that didn't work out very well but i'm gonna keep trying to make it until it suits my taste (i'm a huge picky eater) and another recipe i'm working on is a salad which i have never given a shot at salad before.

but that's my updates. hopefully this can give someone some ideas to try or some inspiration. i'm hoping writing here continues to help myself too.

Setting small goals for yourself is an incredibly good way to go about your life, I am so proud of you, keep up the great work and don't let any failures get you down, they're a part of it after all, from which you can grow and improve upon!

I'd love to hear about your recipe.

well i tried out a chia seed pudding recipe with mashed blueberries but the texture of the blueberry skin really threw me off so i'm gonna try mashed raspberries next and the salad recipe is a kale salad with shredded parmesan and preserved lemons/lemon juice

also thank you for the support!

well rn i'm working towards getting my associates degree and eventually i would want my bachelors and masters degree but i think just focusing on the associates is a good start. i also have a big savings goal but i think just focusing on trying to save a bit of the whole is a good start too and a baby step for me in the right direction.

A chicken broth meal with tofu helped me alot when I was trying to improve my life
Or really any kind of soup with an animal broth base will have skin improvements then add any vegetable you like to that base and it is a "healthy" easily consumable food
Also if you like eggs, an egg and potato meal with cheese can be good (fry potatoes first then add egg) the egg meal is good for absorbing stimulant medication

yes US but it's a community college so it doesn't cost as much thankfully (at least community college for the associates degree)

i really like tofu especially fried! and i'm interested in trying to make more soups so thank you for the suggestion. i've been wanting to make black bean soup since it's my fav and awhile ago i saw a video about making korean army stew?? i think it's called that and it looked very good. also skin improvements is a big yes for me lol

hello again all,

i'm currently doing okay i'd say. the past two days have been good but i woke up today feeling kinda crappy and i didn't get anything done besides go to my one class, when i got home i just went straight to sleep (i did take my medicine though). to help achieve my mini goals i've been writing daily to do lists. even if it's just simple everyday stuff i've been writing it down so i make sure i stay focused and on task- "a body in motion stays in motion" is a saying i like to repeat to myself that really helps me stay motivated and keep going. i've had some trouble actually completing everything on the to do lists though just because i get so tired and need to sleep before work. i did finally complete a whole to do list the other day though! overall they've been really helpful and have made it so i stay on track. i've also been drinking more water. i got these little "energy sticks" they're called and they're a drink mix you add to water that has caffeine in it. i used to drink a lot of redbull and i don't drink a lot so what i did drink was the redbull to get the caffeine but now i can drink more water while still getting the caffeine. update on eating healthy too, i made another attempt at the chia seed pudding this time with raspberries. i haven't tried it yet but i have high hopes for this one because i used a blender this time. and for the salad i made the preserved lemons for it now i just have to wait a week for them to "preserve" i guess lol? but i might try another salad in the meantime. i've also been trying to not be too hard on myself. example: if i don't complete a to do list or can only give 50% effort into something. one of my biggest struggles is the act of not doing, because if i can't be perfect at something i end up just not doing it at all but i've been trying to unlearn that and just doing something rather than nothing. and not beating myself up for it "not being perfect".

but that's all for now! i'll continue to give updates!
