• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'd choose my time, but yes. it would be a wild comfort, too, you know? Just knowing the option is right there.

Sorry but cats are so much better than people

As long as I found good homes for all our cats. I have a husband but no way would he provide adequate care and they'd be neglected (he loves them too but is an alcoholic.and I am the one that pays all pet-related care, feeds them etc.).

So as long as a I know my kitties are in good homes then yes, I am ready to go. It would be bliss to know that I would definitely die. My fears of becoming further disabled and/or ending up in a MH institution are what keep me from attempting.

Wasting my time

Yes. At some point, the moment I felt sure it was the right time. I have a non method that I desperately want to do (but that I know wouldn't actually work). Under these conditions I could go much more comfortably.

I think most of us have lived through this moment. In the midst of us desperately wanting to go, for several different reasons we attempt and hope for the best! It isn't until we wake up alive we are shocked with the reality we are stuck here. So yes, absolutely, I would use the method and sleep forever! I wouldn't even have a desire for a last mean or last enjoyable day.

Absolutely. When I overdosed on kratom and alcohol I was absolutely certain I wanted to end it all. I was massively disappointed and not the slightest bit relieved when I woke up the morning after.

Isn't the point to succeed? Avoiding non methods and such.

Lets say that, instead of you being in this world, you were in a different world with the same laws of physics and everything else is the same except that you know that, if you attempt a suicide method, you will succeed for sure. If you were to drown or hang yourself or even choke yourself to death, you will succeed in doing it. The pain factor of these methods are still the same. The amount of time it takes for these methods to kill you is the same. The only difference is that you will succeed the moment you start doing the method. Nothing will stop you, not SI (it will exist but it won't stop you), not family, not friends etc.

Would you try to kill yourself if this were to be true? I definitely would
100% absolutely that's the only thing stopping me is fear of it not working and ending up paralyzed/worse

It would take one of the two biggest factors that seem to stop me away. I'd be much more likely

If there was a guaranteed 100% chance of success, I absolutely would. Part of the reason I haven't CTB'd yet is the fear of it being unsuccessful. My life is already shit, the last thing I want is to have a shitty life AND be crippled from a failed suicide attempt.

Absolutely. It might not be right away, though. I would probably do it when I am at my lowest.

Yes absolutely! Unfortunately I seem to be in the opposite situation and so I just sit here and suffer with this deep irritability building up inside me until I blow up
