If a crime occurred with the death penalty as punishment would you plead guilty to it (despite being innocent) if you were assured quick execution?

It takes time to reach that final point of execution. You run the risk of being prosecuted for wasting their time. There's a high chance you will be found out because they would expect you to know fine details surrounding the crime and they wouls also look into gou medical history which could potentially trip you up. It's hifhly likely your story would fall apart very quickly leaving you with more problems than you started with.
That all said, if those things weren't an issue I would absolutely do it. My last act would be to write and send a delayed email to somebody telliing them I had done this and was of course not guilty of the crime. Bare in mind, the law enforcement agencies would need to know this in order to continue searching for the actual guilty perpetrator who would likely still be at large and able to reoffend. The crime would be of a terrible nature and therefore it would be immoral to ignore this.
I suspect many people have tried to do this already.

Death penalty in my country is with beheading. I have apprehensions about this method in particularHell yes I would. Then I wouldn't have to do it myself which I have found is quite difficult.

No. I would not plead guilty to a crime I did not commit. It would be wrong for me to be treated like a criminal when I am not one. Instead I would rather just ctb myself.

That's an interesting question. I would say no. In my country, people are on death row for 15- 20 years before they are executed. That means, I would have to be in prison for 15-20 years for a crime that I didn't commit. In my opinion, that would literally be hell. Not only would I lose my freedom, but I would be trapped on death row with societies most violent and dangerous people.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to be trapped in a terrible situation like that where I had no control over my death. The death penalty has been banned in the state where I live. They used to execute people with the electric chair, which is not only scary, but barbaric. No one should have to die such a terrible death like that.
Probably the worst thing would be, what If I later changed my mind and decided that I no longer wanted to die, but live, and they executed me anyway? Once you confess to a crime, you can't just take it back and expect anyone to believe you.

Maybe its not the worst way to die from the prospective of the slain. Actually it was taught to be the most merciful way of killing for criminal punishment and animal slaughter for feeding

If 5 or 10 seconds was in fact the amount of time until death I would be very OK with being beheaded. Most ctb methods seem to be in the minutes to hours range. Although I wouldn't willing seek the death penalty.

No. The thought of suicide relaxes me. Dying in an accident or of a physical illness relaxes me as well. But the thought of someone killing me makes me angry, because that's interfering with what I want. If that makes sense. Especially in those conditions.
