While I am sure (or at least hope) that you mean the best for this person, it is their choice to make. You can offer emotional support but you cannot tell someone what they have to do. They also might be in a situation that cannot improve and/or their pain might be just too unbearable. I also want to point out that your message can be very upsetting to someone suicidal as it completely negates the validity of their feelings
