Would anyone be interested in a discord server to hang out and watch movies, etc?

We watch movies, shows, play games, stream things, listen to music, audiobooks, etc you name it, we do it. It's a small space to escape and look forward to connecting with others.

Awhile ago there was one set up, but the person who set it up deleted it

I am a caretaker for several relatives so I'm not consistent enough to be the admin but would be happy to help get it set up!

we could also have a venting channel, a general chat channel, a support channel, meme channel, etc.

there will be NO TALK OF METHODS OR ANY DETAILS OF ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SITE ON THE SERVER- we do not want to attract attention to this site or get the server shut down.

We've done it before and it was lots of fun actually. There are also many other discord servers from this site already if you're friends with the people who made them. I'm on some, but they're not as focused on media and group movie watch, etc so I figured I'd make that space. Sorry you don't wanna join, we'd love to have you!

Shockingly enough in the discord servers I'm in people are actually pretty respectful of the rules because nobody wants this site to go down- they know that if they have something to discuss, they can always use the chat feature of this site. It's not an inconvenience because that's where we all came from anyway.
I do plan on keeping it on the smallish side though, as it does get hard to control once you start getting too large a group.

General shittiness of life is absolutely on the table to discuss :p just nothing specific to ctb- no plans, dates, methods, specific intent, etc. but talking about your problems and feelings and just hating being alive etc is absolutely allowed! Basically follow discord TOS and don't make specific references to this site

Proton VPN is free and seems like the best option when it comes to free VPNs
