Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Been considering moving across country to "start over" but I honestly believe it's a fantasy and won't actually work. I have the resources but I'm starting to think it may be best to just stop while I'm ahead.

Plan on having my family put my home back on the market. If I hang myself in my garage (I live alone), would that make it harder for them to sell the house?

It's a very good question. As a landlord myself, I have thought about this several times. I believe yes, in the short run it will affect the home. In the long run, it won't. But people are more likely to worry about violent murders and the such. Suicide isn't as bad and I believe it will be forgotten eventually.

Violent crime tends to skew negatively because it makes it seem like the home is in an unsafe neighborhood, i.e. you could be next! A suicide is more personal and not reflective of the property itself.

That said... I don't care what happens to any of my stuff when I'm dead. I don't have anyone in my life who will be directly affected and nobody to leave things to... so I don't care.
