will you delete or encrypt any files or messages so no one will find them?

Before you commit suicide, will you delete or encrypt any files or messages? Why would you or why would you not? Do you have any specific concerns? Have you given it a lot of thought (to prevent file recovery)?

I don't really care about my messages. I didn't say anything wrong. But I would like to get rid of all my photos that I have in USB keys/hard drives. I don't want my boyfriend to look at them and miss me, grieve for me. I feel the sooner he forgets how I look like, the better he will overcomes my death.

I will wipe all of my devices to factory default tbh. There's nothing interesting to see but like I need and deserve privacy out of principle. Also I don't want law enforcement to potentially go through my stuff either

I'm an impulsive person so I doubt I do this. I wasn't suicidal today until now. I'm feeling suicidal again. Nights make me more suicidal. By the way, there's nothing interesting to see or find on my devices. Those close to me know why I'm suicidal so there's nothing to hide.

I have nothing to hide so not really, I'll probably log out of this site and a few others as well as clearing my browsing history. Some stuff like texts to crisis lines might be useful for people to get a clearer picture should they so choose so that stuff will not be altered.

I suppose my only concern is my parents and/or anti-choicers taking my image and using it to push their agenda. If I die by suicide I just want to be remembered for who I was and left in the past. Not much I can do once I'm dead but luckily there's a pretty low chance of that happening.

When I attempted, I wiped some of my devices just so they could be used again by anyone who wants them.
