Hello. I am continuing to experiment with psh, and am wondering if my new setup is effective or not.
I have a thin rope tied to a bar in my closet using an arbor knot, and I tied a slipknot for my neck. It is low enough to the ground to where I am fully sitting on my knees and kind of have to force my head/neck downwards in order to get stronger/faster results (dizziness, blurry vision). Here's a diagram I made.

If I hadn't lifted myself up, I'd have passed out. I was turning red/purple and my eyes were all red after. Upon lifting myself, I got the same feeling as when you've not eaten for a long time and you stand up too fast. However, I'm worried that since I kinda had to force myself down to make it work better, would that prevent me from actually dying if I pass out and am unable to continue putting the pressure down?
I've seen drawings showing kneeling psh in this kind of way;

in which they are kneeling but not fully sat on their legs as I was. Will having the noose higher up like this aid with my needing to push my head down?
This was my first time trying with an actual rope and knots, so I still have to tweak it quite a bit. Advice is appreciated. I'll also include a photograph of my setup below, maybe it will help.

I just don't want it to be too low, especially since it isn't very easy to feel the effects right away. I don't want to pass out, lose the pressure, and just end up waking up or something.
Thanks.

I don't think you will lose the pressure if you lose conciousness your whole body will collapse and you'll be pressing downwards with equal or greater force to the one that made you passed out, your positioning may be a bit awkward but if it works it'll be fine
I highly doubt you will lose that much pressure on your neck or shift your position enough to wake you up

positioning yourself like in the second drawing looks trickier to me since you'll be applying less pressure to your neck making it harder to pass out
but i'm not an expert so sorry for any mistakes or if i misread something

If you succeed your body will thrash around a bit. I would tell you to try shaking the rope with pressure as if you are passed out to make sure it holds and nothing near you is too close for your si to get you out of it. How long did it take for you to get close to passing out? Did you have any choking feeling or just passing out? I am struggling to get to passing out I just feel pain but if the rope holds and your anchor holds when you thrash it should be fine

I agree after looking in to it more. From all of the videos I've seen of successful psh, none of them had their head lifted like that if they started in the position I was in, they only ended up in such a way if they had been standing taller and went limp.
Thanks for your reply!

Good idea, I'll try this out tomorrow!
As for how long, I had the rope tied as tight as possible with the knot at the back of my neck, and the slipknot itself was as high up on my throat as I could get it. With this, it took <10 seconds or so. I held my breath so I didn't choke or anything, it just felt as if my neck was being squeezed. Once I lifted myself up I felt weird in my arms/hands like blood was returning to them quickly, same story with my face.
The only advice I have for being able to get to that point is to hold your breath, relax your throat/neck muscles, and know where your arteries are.
I took a video of myself doing it but I'm unsure whether or not I'm allowed to post it here lol.
Thanks for the advice, I hope mine can aid you too.
