Why would you need a valid reason to end it all? It's crazy, people will tell you there are worse things, that things will work out, that life is worth living, that you need to be patient...

As if you needed a valid reason or a diplomato have the right to end your life?

I think every reason for wanting to do it is valid. We didn't consent to this life in the first place, it was literally forced upon us so we should have every right to say "This isn't for me, I don't want it" and leave this world behind.

In an ideal world, euthanasia would be available to everyone regardless of your health condition. Because "I don't like it here" should be enough reason to leave, as you weren't given a say in the decision of being born

The first question that people around me always ask is "why?" They want to know why I'm acting "different" from before. They want to know what "changed." They assume there's one event in particular that supposedly ruined everything about me.

They don't want to accept the fact that I was always this way. The reason they perceived a "change" was because I no longer felt the need to mask my true feelings anymore. Since I'll be leaving soon, putting up a facade for outsiders just takes away the little amount of energy I have left for this world.

100% agreed. This has always been blowing my mind. If you don't have the right to end your own life, what rights do you really have?

I 100% believe it's all just a mascarade. 99% of people on this planet work for the 1% who rule the world and benefits from them.
Even an homeless person, unemployed who has nothing, is as useful as a working person because it shows what you'd become if you don't follow the rules.

Sometimes I think the roles should be reversed. Most people who choose to live are just addicted to their distractions, and therefore their reasons for wanting to live are stupid. Some days I wish everyone would die and that is the honest truth.

Yep. Everytime I actually ask someone why they're against suicide for a rational adult, they don't have an answer. They just take it as a given that it's bad, bad, BAD, and never question it.

It doesn't even make sense to me that someone would say that as we will all die anyway whether there is a reason behind it or not, existing is just waiting to die and death is all that's inevitable, it's just such terrible extreme cruelty how so many humans want to do all they can to force others to suffer for as long as possible in this existence that is futile and completely unnecessary in the first place. For me existence itself will always be enough to make me want to permanently cease existing, simply just existing makes me wish for the peace of non-existence where all is gone and forgotten and there is no more pain and no more suffering.

And regarding the comment that only the terminally ill should do it—or be granted the right to do so:

Even if someone has no physical ailments, it is often the accumulation of many small mental burdens that spirals out of control—leading a person to feel they no longer want to be here, that everything is becoming too much, that life feels like a movie playing out before them, and that they are merely functioning like a robot.

I believe that people who refuse to accept this are simply afraid of death themselves; they block it out entirely, acting as if it will never come.

And no, I don't think people would change their minds even if they could step into someone else's body for a few minutes—regardless of whether they were witnessing physical or emotional pain.

Lately, I've encountered people who desperately want to live to be 150. Even in the face of cancer, pain, and a near-total loss of strength and breath, they insisted on every medical intervention available. They clung to the hope of life, even when they were bedridden, unable to move, and completely dependent on others.

When I mentioned that I would personally choose assisted dying—and wouldn't want those kinds of interventions—they became genuinely angry. They didn't want to hear it; they insisted that life is precious and that things always get better.
