• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Media, especially music, has always had a very strong effect on me. Even if the music/media is not sad, but the lyrics/story is emotional or beautiful, sometimes I get so melancholic, nostalgic, or otherwise feel so safe that I get really badly suicidal. In a way I love how media can make me feel so deeply, while on another end I wish I could just enjoy my favorite media without the overwhelming urge to do something more or less self destructive

Mix your playlist with some happy and sad songs. It'll cancel out the feeling that you're talking about. I have 1 song that talks about suicide and really dark things while the one that is next is a song about hope and dreams. Im still sad at the end of the day, but not sad enough to want to do something harmful to myself.
