Why Does Life Have To Be So Hard?

I just don't get why humans make life so hard for each other. We are all sharing the same space. The same air. We all came from the same place and we all end up dead one day. Why are we we so cruel to each other? I just don't get it. Maybe I am missing something. Any explanations?

Because us humans are selfish creatures. Pretty much everything we do is to benefit our own interests. Human beings do have the capacity for so much cruelty, I agree with what you are saying.

I think you might be right. Because it doesnt make sense otherwise the way some people act towards others people or animals.
