Pro-lifers trying to "convert" us?
UK users: Due to a formal investigation into this site by Ofcom under the UK Online Safety Act 2023, we strongly recommend using a trusted, no-logs VPN. This will help protect your privacy, bypass censorship, and maintain secure access to the site. Read the full VPN guide here.
Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.
This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.
In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

No offense taken. I have good days still. Not often they are few and far between. But some days where things seem to go my way in the small things (green lights hit fries etc...) and that can make me happy. However like others have said it doesn't last and I'm back in the pit.I meant no offense to anyone.
This is my circumstance right now. Reasonably, I shouldn't be suicidal because I have (mostly) everything I want, and my life seems to be doing nothing but getting better. But I still want to die; whether for unfixable trauma-related reasons that would be too invasive to share, or simply because being suicidal is so deeply embedded into who I am.I havent seen that. The closes I have seen is people that say that they have everything and should be happy but still want to die... And tbh Im jealous of people who have what I need...
Agree on all minus the cult part, but I definitely think people on here are weirdly antagonistic of people who they think have it better than they do. I don't know who needs to hear this, but you're not a "pro-lifer" if you don't subscribe to the antinatalist/"all life bad" views that are commonplace here.Always this obsession with 'pro-lifers'... I can almost understand why someone might see us as a cult. Designating all non-members, non-iniatiates as intruders, as potentially subversive or harmful, is one of the most distinct feafures of a cult.
I think the issue is (for me anyway) it makes us feel even more like freaks when people are telling you (here of all places) "most people are happy, you're the crazy ones" not in so many words but yeah. Just makes me feel worse-it's not that I'm mad people are happy it's the way they go about telling us we're wrong. And we already get enough of that in the outside world from everyone. It's like we're STILL not being heard or understood. There should be a place here for antinatalists.Agree on all minus the cult part, but I definitely think people on here are weirdly antagonistic of people who they think have it better than they do. because youre allowed to smile when youre depressed sometimesPro-lifers trying to "convert" us?
Can I ask why you are pro-life? I personally feel like life is very beautiful and spiritual but at the same time on the opposite side of the spectrum there is an equally horrible world. I just want to know why people should be forced to live if they want to die?Always this obsession with 'pro-lifers'... I can almost understand why someone might see us as a cult. Please tell me what that reason is.Happiness is a fleeting moment, life is chaotic and will always stab you in the back when you least expect it.
No one in real life lives in a fairy tale, you never know what might push you into the depths of the abyss again.
I feel good for people who can overcome their traumas, ailments, and misfortunes, or their lives improve a little.. even if it's just for a while. And that doesn't mean that they should leave the forum.
Believe me, we're here for a reason. And if you ever thought about suicide, it's like a shadow that will haunt you forever.
So, if you have any peaceful/happy moments, enjoy them. You don't owe anyone any explanations.
Seeking death, talking about our miserable existences, searching and learning about methods.. The name of the forum is pretty obvious, isn't it? You've been here for several years now. Please tell me what that reason is.
