Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Why are so.many people here worried about their SN degarading/becoming contaminated if they open it? Yes, it degareds *after a long time* if exposed to moisture and oxygen. This takes days to happen, not minutes. Opening the package up, and even leaving it open for say as long as an hour, will not have any serious effect on it.

Suicide is an anxiety-inducing thing in and of itself, and additionally us who arrive at such a decision are much more likely to have issues with anxiety than the general population. Then add in the uncertainty of SI, shadowy legality, uncertain availability, apocryphal and unrelated stories of failure, other anxious people posting threads, and pro-lifers actively working to subvert known methods and you get a recipe for a lot of anxiety.
Most importantly in my view is confirmation bias. People tend to seek evidence to confirm their existing beliefs rather than as impartial observers. Put that together with the above list of anxiety triggers and it's kind of a perfect storm for an anxiety attack over something which is not really an issue. If you read here awhile you will see threads on any number of subjects which may not make a lot of rational sense. We're an anxious lot demographically.
