Method Why a small meal before CTB in PPH?

The PPH recommends Nembutal be ingested on an empty stomach. But what's the point of the fast if it at the same time mentions having a light meal like a piece of toast before drinking the Nembutal? Is this even necessary?

The PPH recommends Nembutal be ingested on an empty stomach. But what's the point of the fast if it at the same time mentions having a light meal like a piece of toast before drinking the Nembutal? Is this even necessary?

PPH recommends to have at least something very light in your stomach (not 100% empty) so you dont vomit after ingesting the N. Thats why it recommends something minor/light as a toast 1 hour before.
