German car manufacturers are in an acute crisis. Tesla and BYD are far ahead in many bench mark tests.
While we in Europe are discussing whether we want to continue to produce cars with internal combustion engines.

I hate driving. Except in video games. In GTA that's quite funny. I think Porsche, Lamborghini cars look pretty cool. But never in my life could I afford such a car. And honestly I also don't need it. I think Germany should look for different industries to focus on. We lost of track of car production.

What do you think?

Japan produces the best in terms of how reliable they are and I guess some of the cool factor, although they are kind of hyped to death (atleast JDM's from 90's-00's). But like, overall the coolest cars are all probably European —even though it's not a country, there's so many its hard to choose. Personally I like Americans mostly from watching Knight Rider as a kid and obsessing over Firebirds right before they killed off Pontiac.

Not sure if it's still the case but, I love some of the older designs Jaguar and Aston Martin created. The UK used to be a massive car producer. Coventry went from having over 100 manufacturers to just a couple remaining there now.

Currently or in the past?

I'm a car guy myself. I've had a lot of cars.

There are a lot of classic American muscle cars like the '69 Fastback, etc. I like more of the older classic body styles like the 70's or 60's like before they had a lot of screens.

I like European cars, I like German and Italian cars. My current daily driver is a Tesla Model S Plaid (yeah, go protest me, I could care less about DOGE or whatever. Its not why I bought the car). It blows the doors off the Ferrari 458 and Porsche GT3 RS. But I've been eying the new Lamborghini Revuelto. BYD is pretty impressive from what I've seen and read. I think I'll trade the Tesla in for a Mercedes S-Class hybrid at some point, at least for my daily car. I've had a couple Audi A8L's, the limo of choice in Europe. Mercedes FSD is supposed to be extremely advanced actually. But I've got a few, I enjoy exotics. I've even done some track courses with instructors. 🏁 🏎️ 💨
