Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

is it safe to store my SN in a closed cabinet in my closet inside my room? i'm wondering if it is somehow dangerous to be too close to my SN, since it is in my room. however, it will be stored away in a closed cabinet inside my closet.

Why should it be dangerous ? You know what it is and nobody else should have access to it. It has to be airtight and the temperature shouldn´t be too high.

That's exactly where I store mine. In a small cabinet next to my dresser. It should be fine there. Now, I get very paranoid about humidity and what changes in temperature bring, when it's 80+ outside I bring it into my living room where it's cooler. This is most assuredly unnecessary because from the research I've taken it takes years to turn to nitrate, plus, both containers (I have two sources of SN in my care) are sealed with a ridiculous amount of bag (just one) and tape....like a lot of tape. I went crazy and did that myself. I'm so worried that when the time comes to take my SN, that it won't work...but I shouldn't worry. Your SN is fine where you have it. Don't worry like me.
