Ah I stopped three years ago after thirty years of propping up the bar. But my poison was beer. I loved the taste and the way it was made and I could tell what hops were used from the taste. I usually got locked in, in the days before all night opening,and could make myself at home in any bar anywhere in the world. Happy days.
I also loved margaritas! Aaaiiiii!

I do like the darker stuff, when I went to the bridge the other week, I had my little hip flask with a couple shot's in of Lambs Navy, I used to be a pirate, (reenactment style damn it) and I discovered rum then!
Vodka makes me vomit and wine is for pussie's!

I don't like wine or that bubble crap either.
Tia Maria and coke is lovely.
The pub next door to us brew their own beer and it's lovely.

Never got into beer myself, or Gin,Try a double gin with ginger beer. Ginger beer mind, not ginger ale. It's what the Northamptonshire farmers drink at harvest time for some reason.
I once drove my beat up old car round Ireland for a laugh. Guinness all the way! It's no wonder my gi tract is shot.Last edited:

Jaegermeister tastes like licorice. Never a huge fan. Blacked out on the stuff once. Another time I tried to hide behind a chain link fence. It didn't work.

I like bourbon
my go to is usually jack and coke. I like rum too, and tequila and beer. I drank vodka too much when I was younger, can't drink it much any more but I do have mango vodka that's really nice! Also jager is a no for me lol

I preferred it to most scotch though whisky drinkers would tut at that.
I also liked some ciders, namely from Suffolk and Normandy. I was never keen on west country cider. Again, cider drinkers would tut at that. I used to make my own, it was clear and dry and wonderfully appley. Like appley Champagne. My homebrew beer was awful though.

Maybe I don't remember much from the one night me and my friend did jager bombs but the next morning wasn't pleasant at all. Definitely one of my worst hangovers of all time.

Haha now I'm thinking of all my drunken exploits. I've lost count of the number of weird places I've woken up in.
A central reservation on a dual carriageway a mile from my flat comes to mind. I fell unconcious in the snow and when I came to I couldn't climb out over the barrier. I gave up and lay down in the snow and laughed. How funny it would be to die here like this I thought, so close to home. I climbed out eventually, obviously. What a piss head.

My dear it is. But you'll also get a goodnight sleep and wake up with Puke in your hair and a missing nipple ring! This is what happened to me. Took me a week to recover and didn't drink after that for a year.
