Discussion What's the main reason for SN vomitting???

Is it the taste or is it because of the nature of SN itself..?
For example, if I was somehow able to numb the sense of taste before taking SN, would I not feel the urge to vomit afterwards??

I read that you can vomit with GHB/GBL too. And it seems also salty (I didn't try it). I guess it's because it's very very very salty. Human body is not made to drink something like that. But the psychological part is very important too. Some people vomit and other don't. I sometimes have nausea because of my anxiety so I suppose I'll vomit, but if take enough benzos, it could be okay. We'll see when it's time...

It is likely that the nausea is a systemic effect of sodium nitrite rather than a localized stomach effect.

The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) conducted a study on the oral bioavailability of sodium nitrite. The study was designed such that 9 volunteers received two single oral doses of sodium nitrite and one intravenous dose of sodium nitrite.

Volunteer 6 experienced nausea after both the intravenous administration of sodium nitrite and the high-dose oral administration of sodium nitrite. Since the nausea occurred after both intravenous and oral administration of sodium nitrite, it is likely that the nausea is a systemic effect of sodium nitrite rather than a localized stomach effect.

I think it's because your body recognizes it as a toxin and tries to get rid of it via vomiting.
A lot of people who overdose on anything or are poisoned vomit because our bodies are able to recognize what's going on.
