What’s the closest you’ve got to death, following a suicide attempt?

Following one of my ODs I died twice, was placed into a chemically induced coma, was on life support and woke up with the inevitable catheter in my dick.

When I was finally brought round (took three attempts) I was completely psychotic, from all of the tablets I'd taken. Thought I was being experimented on, in a space ship. I thought all of the staff were robots, and I was quite scared.

I couldnt speak properly, and had to be spoon fed. I remember trying to compose a text on my phone, but I was so fucked that it took me about 20 minutes to conjure up two lines of gibberish text. I even ripped the screen protector off, because I believed that was causing my inability to text.

It was a surreal experience, I tell you.

Ctb attempt, I was strangled, emergency surgery, inflammation of internal organ (not sure how to say that).

I was happy to be anesthetized or otherwise just unconscious (except that strangling) while those was happening and things was going to end badly, so I don't remember anything. Just wake up after few days or week and wondering what happened.

The closest to death I was was last year when I ended up in a coma for 2 days because of an OD with 100 sleeping pills and anti-depressants.
Waking up in hospital and had the doctors tell me that I should be dead or alive but with permanent damage made me think: "Wouldn't that have been better than being in conscious in this hell again?"

Anyway, still here I guess. and the truth is that having permanent brain damage would be no fairy tail at all.

I can't fail next time!

have to say as someone who has OD it wasn't the doctors or anyone who saved me it was passing out and seizing on the floor about to choke on my own vomit but somehow rolling onto my side that kept me here, and the other time i took a lethal dose of some medicine i can't remember the name of but sadly all that happened was me sleeping for 2 days straight and then feeling nauseous the following day
