Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I see it's about 3 years, most of them here are normal, 1 to 3 months and they're finally behind me. I've been here for 9 months, tried CTB twice but I couldn't do it alone, I'm still looking for a CTB partner, then I'll make it final
I do not think that I really understand this thread. Nobody here has any obligation to die, we all have the right to exit at a time of our own choosing, suicide is a personal choice and it is up to the individual when to leave so I do not really think that there is a thing as a 'life expectancy of SS member'. Many people on here are in recovery and many likely plan to ctb in the distant future. In general these days the life expectancy is long as many humans live until an old age but of course nobody has any obligation to stay alive until they die of natural causes.

It all varies, some come get method ideas and leave. Others, like me, have been here for a minute and have been planning on different methods for years. I have my final method and my will sorted. I just have a few bits of unfinished business and with God's strength, I will be gone soon.
This is a sounding board for many. A community that cannot exist in the real world. You are here as long as it serves your needs. Some need advice on methods, some seek advice on life. Help received is more important than time online.
