Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

What if you were told an asteroid was about to destroy earth?

If all the world's top scientists said that an asteroid at least 96km was about to impact earth, in the next 24 hours how would you feel and react? What would you think about existence and the fact that everything was about to get wiped imminently?

It would be a giant relief, to be honest. I'd feel bad for the people that wanted to keep living though. A relative once told me that should a nuke be imminently heading for your location the optimal strategy is to move as closely to the impact site as possible so that your death will be as painless as possible. I feel like a similar strategy would apply here depending on the exact size of the asteroid (if it's big enough where you're standing won't matter). Would be nice if I could get to try some weed before the end; the only reason I wasn't smoking it before is I work in a field adjacent to criminal justice and US drug laws are dumb.

I'd raid a candystore, steal the most expensive steak I can find, cut all my hair off, break into a pharmacy and find some super crazy pain killers and watch funny movies until I pass out and the world is gone
(I've always wanted to just slam down endless amounts of sugar until I get sick and cut my hair off like a two year old that found the grown up scissors)

I would go to the store, purchase or steal a bunch of food, and try driving towards the asteroid. Bicycling or walking so I could get a decent view of the madness.
Maybe convince my family and hold their hands as the light of God enveloped us all.

I'd be happy about not having to go through the process of CTB myself. I'd spend my last hours out in nature with a huge blunt in one hand and a bottle of Bailey's in another. Listening to my favorite music and riding the wave of being cross faded while enjoying the sight of nature- up until the very end.

TBH my body wouldn't remain conscious for too long with just a blunt and liquor. I'd pass out with my music in a world of bliss. Only this time I wouldn't wake up sober and disappointed.

You can feel the punishment but you cant commit ts
this post kinda triggers me, but not enough to make me run screaming, as its something my mother tried scaring me with every day as a child, she found some kind of sick joy in the end of the world, to the point I became numb, now as an adult who wants to CTB, if I was told the world was about to end, damn Id be on a bottle of rum on the beach waiting.

I would just be glad it was the end and that I wouldn't have to do it myself. It would be an overwhelming sense of relief that this pointless existence is over.

I think i would be minority here, but i would feel terrible about it. Earth is gorgeous unique planet, worth saving and i admire all of her ecosystems, cycles, life in general. Animals living here don't deserve eradication, and i would never feel good about that just because my personal suicidal alignments. I don't need asteroid to make myself happy to go.
