Sad truth is our cognitive functions such as thoughts, memories and consciousness are nothing more than electrical impulses in our brains. Once those impulses no longer work, we lose all of our cognitive abilities as sad as that sounds.

although i do believe in some sort of a (nonbenevolent, obviously) higher power, i think there is truly no way to know and that followingly the safest and most likely bet is to assume that it's the same as before you were born, since that's the best thing we have to work off of. i think the second most likely bet is reincarnation since the only other thing we have to work off of is the fact that at some point, following nothing, we did start existing. sometimes i imagine that each suffering person was one who inflicted suffering on another in a past life; however, in all likelihood this is just my human longing for some sense of justice in this world mixed with my evolutionary fear of oblivion. i think the idea of a heaven or a hell or anything of the like is a ridiculous human construct. a heaven or hell implies a higher power with a sense of moral justice, and no higher power with a sense of moral justice would create a world such as our own; to say they would is just denial and self comfort. but then again there's no way to know with any certainty. that's just the stupid nature of life
I think they're just tricks of the mind. Just think about all of the *nothingness* experiences that people have.I don't care that much. I'm the type of guy to see what happens when the moment is there.I think that is nothingness we live in an evil world but on the other hand where shadows go after death and in the final moments is like the soul explode from the brain up and also if those who suicide reincarneted then that mean all the population who born suicide! Is the madness of religion ideas.

There is absolutely no way to know. Humans live with that uncertainty. We have no idea whatever after, but I hope it is better than this hell we live in.

I'd like to go to the void, to retreat to a blanket of stars in an eternal slumber.Nothing. It will be the same nothing as before we were born. No pain, stress, anxiety, and so on. That's why there is nothing to fear. Only to welcome.

When we die, that is it for us, we are gone. There is no evidence of there being anything after death. We simply cease to exist, death is just like how before we were born where time passed and yet we were not aware of anything. Death is freedom from all suffering and problems, everything that is wrong with existence is gone. Nothingness is ideal.It's hard to believe that I won't ever get to see the awesome people I've met again. It's hard to believe that we love so deeply and then we never see each other again.
