I eat junkfood, watch bad old movies, surf reddit, stay up all night and sleep all day. I used to smoke pot a lot but it makes gives me anxiety now and has caused mental health problems. What do you do to stay numb/stay alive?

I used to smoke weed to keep my mind relaxed, but now since my ctb date is approaching, all weed will do is show me fantasies of saving me from ctb and a hopeful future, but that's only a delusion. It will only give me false hope.
This is why I'm being sober, feeling miserable all day long, I have this ghastly nausea in my chest that has stayed for months, I'm helpless. Nothing can cure my sickness except death.

Binging and purging, losing weight, smoking cigarettes, self harming, watching Netflix, listening to sad songs, stay up all night and sleep all day too. I could also count watching porn/masturbating, but that actually makes me feel worse and I consider it a stupid biological need lol.

Meaningless sex, drugs, self harm- some obvious ones in answer to your question about staying numb. I don't view staying numb and staying alive as the same thing. Music, work and constantly thinking of how my death will hurt someone I love is probably what has kept me alive till now.

Drinking alcohol is about the only thing that numbs the pain these days. Sometimes it brings it out a little more, but it still seems to help for the most part. I just don't drink often because of the calorie count.

I just feel empty most of the time anyway. I spend most of my time overthinking everything and other times I try to distract myself from my thoughts such as watching TV shows. Most of the time I just look forward to sleep. In a way it is like I have already died.

Weed kept me away from suicide for 10 years, until I had an episode of psychosis and quit. I turned to heavy drinking for a period of time, but it only leaves me feeling worse the next day. Right now nothing but psych meds. Addiction isn't an option anymore.

Sleeping, smoking weed and eating shitty junk food. I used to engage in risky, meaningless sex before my 2nd hospitalization after attempting suicide but now I can't.. due to 1.) my parents being up my ass 24/7 now and 2.) the fact that I caught a MERSA infection on my ass when I was in the hospital the 1st time & had two gaping wounds on my ass. Now they've scabbed over, but who on earth would want to sleep with me now, let alone want to date me... I'm doomed.
