hehehehe at some point you won't be finding this game comforting hehehehe
The plot twist had me 🤨😮😰. Finished it the day before yesterday and managed to avoid spoilers and get the good ending altogether. It's a really fucked up game psychologically, but I maintain that it was, in a weird way, comforting. I was already biased toward it because I love rpg maker games. Also, I deeply related to Sunny with the whole white space and trying to hide from guilt thing. I guess different people react differently to the game. All in all, I hadn't been drawn to a game like that for a long time. Kept wondering why was Basil acting so weird toward me. Found out✊✊ the final duet, the OST, the characters? Man! Already one of my all-time favorites.
Tried playing Stalker Anomaly and holy shit why is it so difficult?

Like the enemies are insanely OP even on easy mode and I get killed before I can even find medkits.
Have you tried Shadow of Chernobyl, the first one? Don't know if its easier, but I personally loved it

J League Pro Striker 2 Japan 250621 065140
Hey, look! My japanese cousin! Oi, itoko, boringu ni ikou yo!
He's wearing no pants, as usual...

J League Pro Striker 2 Japan 250622 143312 Japan is a curious land, and on the matter of sports, it is no different. While there's the sumo wrestler in the room, Sumo, their national sport with probably the most ceremony of all sports on earth, as well as other martial arts with somewhat less of it, other imported pastimes have landed in the eastern island nation: Baseball is another very loved sport, probably more loved than in the States, and the place has its share of motorsports that don't involve delivering tofu. Of course, as you could tell, Soccer is another one of the big J's favorites.

Japan is home to the J.League, their national soccer league, and as Japan likes to do, they make vidya gaems based on the competition. The one we'll be talking about today is Pro Striker 2, released in 1994 for the Genesis. On the surface, it is just another soccer game in a platform with more than 6 already released, so how does it stand out? Simple: By being a good game.

J League Pro Striker 2 Japan 250622 034425 All other soccer games on the Genesis had this loose feeling where sometimes you just couldn't do anything but a forced mistake, and while eaten inputs on this one are still a thing, they are far less common. You feel in control almost always. The game movement is stiff, but for a good reason: To stick to the ball. The game doesn't let you veer off course if you're dribling the ball, which means you can only turn when the ball is in your feet. This makes movement jerkier, but far, FAR more reliable.

Yeah, other games did this already by 1994, but Pro Striker 2 goes above and beyond to make it as smooth as possible. The game is fun, and makes you feel like mistakes are yours, instead of the game being cheap, eating inputs and just controlling badly. The AI can be dumb sometimes, and the crowd sound is harsh, but after trying so many soccer games, I can safely say this one is on the top 3 so far!

Here's a little collection of nice plays I recorded for you, my most esteemed SaSuers:

I've been really into Sifu ever since it came out. I beat it many times, but what keeps me coming back are the modifiers; they let me turn the difficulty up so far, in so many different ways, which a lot of other games don't let me do. The story is phenomenal too, and doesn't get in the way of the gameplay.
It's one of the biggest reasons I got into martial arts!

The goalie really just let me walk in like that. Good job, AI!

I'm starting to think this goalie AI is worse than Power Eleven

That one wasn't the AI, I just thought the play looked 🆒

In a true act of rebellion, the AI goalie's teammate makes an own goal just to spite him. What a chad!

Now that's what I call a crappy ending. "It's not about the ending, it's about the goals we made in the way"

TF2. I spent practically my whole childhood playing that game at the expense of socializing and I have about 5-6 thousand hours on it across all my steam accounts. That fact and that figure fills me with deep shame whenever I open steam, but oh well. Video games bring me no joy anymore, theyre just a thing I engage in because the emptiness inside me is suffocating and I need to get my mind away from things.

I can relate. There are a few games I genuinely enjoy, but most are escapism from my shitty life. Play trn minutes, get bored, next game, until I just give up and start capping to force my body to feel good.

As of now, life exists just so I can escape from it. My life is a huge escapism quest, nothing else matters...

Space Rangers HD - A War Apart

It just keeps wanting me to play it every few years. This time I should add a few small mods to it and up the difficulty.

I'm getting a couple of controllers made by 8BitDo in the style of NES and SNES controllers, so that way I can play games from those systems more comfortably! The NES controller is really great for Game Boy games too, since they have a similar button layout!

When they arrive today, I might get started on some Castlevania! And I'll probably play some Super Robot Wars Pinball on GBC today too~ 💙

I admit I'm a bit of a nerd and I like Conway's game of life. My goal is to make the panel blank.

The first time I heard about him, he caught my attention in class. I remember the professor was explaining it and as I have confidence with him I replied well there we all are while I was thinking unfortunately for me.

Ah yeah I love just messing with cellular automata. It's a great way to combine art and mathematics! Visions of Chaos is an AWESOME program for math art, you should check it out!

Fractals, Genetic art, 5D CA, it's got it all! It's just a great wallpaper generator (If you like abstract stuff)
